Baking with Erythritol for Sugar Substitute

Due to its clean sweet taste which is very close to sugar taste and its low calorie  content of 0.2 calories per gram  - sugar has 3.75 calories per gram.   Erythritol is an    excellent choice for sugar replacement.  Erythritol is  30% less sweet than sugar.  Erythritol  high  laxation threshold & glycemic   index of nearly zero and clean taste profile set it  apart from, other polyols.  (as sorbitol, maltitol, lactitol, isomalt, xylitol)  The main reason for these unique  properties is the low weight of the  erythritol molecule.  It is the only polyols with 4 carbons   molecules where as  other      polyols range from 5 to 12  carbon molecules.  The  molecular size is one of the   decisive  factors   determining the fate of the   polyols in the human digestive tract. Erythritol is a natural substance, found in grapes, soy sauce, wine and honey.  Erythritol is produced by a natural  microbial fermentation process, in fact it is the only sugar alternative today  produced by such a natural process.  In Japan and USA the product has been   approved for more than a decade

Xylitol a Sugar Alcohol is also used For Sugar free baking

                     Sugar alcohol occur naturally in fruits and vegetables.  They have calories, though  significantly fewer   calories than regular     sugars, because they are not completely absorbed by the body.  This   allow products that use sugar alcohols for  sweeteners to be labeled "sugar free" or reduced calorie.  (Sugar-free does not mean calorie-free)  Xylitol is a natural insulin  stabilizer, therefore it doesn't spike in blood sugar and   actually helps reduce sugar and carbohydrate cravings.  Because the body absorbs sugar  alcohols slowly and incompletely they produce a lower blood glucose response and are   appropriate for diabetics.
Xylitol has 40% fewer calories and 75 % fewer carbohydrates than sugar.  Xylitol has a glycemic index of 7 while sugar is 68.

Xylitol was approved by the FDA in 1963 as a food additive and diabetics have been using it for years.
Xylitol has no known toxic levels, though excessive use might cause a mild   laxative effect which resolves as the body's  enzymes activity adjust.  Inject at little more each day, to adjust your system.

ALL MEAL ORDERS WILL BE CHARGED A 20 % SERVICE CHARGE -

This fee covers Local Delivery, use of all chafing dishes, glass bowls, sterling silver platters,
and misc. display items. It does not include gratuity

For your tables, chairs, & specialty linen, you may contact the rental company
directly or we can contract them for you.

Linens

   Aromatica’s provides white linen for the food and beverage tables only. We can provide  linens for your guest tables at your request - call for current prices.

Employee Fees

   Servers: 15.75 /hour - 6 hr. minimum          BBQ’r 19.50/hour  - 4 hr. minimum . 
 
Bartender -  When alcohol is provided by Aromatica’s  19.50/hour- 3 hr minimum .
   Private Contract Bartender -   When alcohol is provided by client 28.00/hour - 3 hr. minimum.

Employees are covered by workers’ compensation, and are paid in accordance to Oregon law.

OUR PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

For catered events of over 50 guests & All Weddings

A $100.00 Non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your event date.
(This amount will be credited toward your order)
A Down payment equal to 10% of the estimated total is due upon menu approval
50% of balance is due one month prior to event.
Balance due is to be paid in full no less than two weeks before your event date.
General amendments to your order may be made up to 14 days prior to event.
(This is the amount that will be prepared and charged for)
Within this 14 day window adjustments to your order or increases in quest count are subject to approval. 

General guidelines

50% deposit (or a credit card on file) is required 2 days (24 hours) prior to your event. Balance of order will be COD (collect on delivery).    A Guaranteed guest count should be entered 3 days prior to event.  General amendments to your order may be made up to 3 days prior to event.  After that time the total guest count may be increased only and is subject to approval. PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

... more then 72 hours prior to event will be allowed a Full Refund of total.

from 72 - 24 hours prior to event are subject to 50 % Charge of total.
